Exhibition “Erbe/Erde – Heritage/Earth” took place on Saturday 06.11.2021 at the Kunstverein Freiburg and dealt with legacies, inclusiveness and the concept of care.
As part of Clim’Ability Design, the artistic research project JARDIN GLOCAL under the direction of Prof. Daniel Fetzner (HS Offenburg) discusses the Upper Rhine as a cohesive climate region. Already in 2019, the exhibition “The departure from the outside” transformed into a new arrival. Is our Earth a Jardin Glocal, a local and global garden, which we want to and can rediscover and shape? Alongside the question of space, comes the question of time: what heritage, what earth nourishes us? What do we draw from and what defines us? And: what heritage, what earth do we want to leave behind?
