During the ascent of the German Belchen in the Black Forest, Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Glaser and Nicolas Scholze, from the Chair of Physical Geography at the University of Freiburg, are talking about the more than 2000 years old “Belchen System” that refers to five mountains with the name Belchen around the tripoint of Germany, France and Switzerland that may have been used by the Celts as a solar calendar.
