Project after project, a commitment to a socially and climate-resilient economy across the Upper Rhine region.
In this first booklet, Florence Rudolf, Full Professor at INSA Strasbourg and Research Director of the Clim’Ability projects, looks back on ten years of action research with companies in the Upper Rhine, in three phases:
- Clim’Ability (2016-2019): building a shared culture and survey methods to raise companies’ awareness of climate change, sector by sector (forestry and timber, energy, textiles, agri-food).
- Clim’Ability Design (2020-2023): bringing spatial planning and architecture further on board, for a transition driven by projects rather than by shock strategy.
- Clim’Ability Care (2023-2026): making care visible alongside alert, mitigation and adaptation, and working with pilot sites on the resilience of critical infrastructure and on flood risk.
