Good practice: BRASSERIE LICORNE

In 2018 the brewery BRASSERIE LICORNE in Saverne, Alsace decided to implement concrete actions to reduce energy consumption.

Thus, a significant reduction in water consumption was also achieved thanks to the optimization of the pasteurizer: from 3.75 l of water consumption for 1 l of beer to only 3.4 l of water. 

In the long term, the company aims to reduce its ratio to 3 l of water for 1 l of beer.
